For 2003 Michelin maps revised its range of maps into four distinct series - michelin National maps,  michelin Regional maps, michelin Zoom maps and michelin Local maps. Other products include Michelin City Plans and Michelin Road Atlases .Michelin mapping covers 40 countries, 4.3 million miles of road and 170,000 towns and cities.

Michelin maps are very clear, crisp, well thought out and a pleasure to use.  Michelin are essentially motoring and route planning maps and whilst not small scale enough for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, they are excellent browsing material and highly recommended. New for 2008 is 3D mapping on the Local series.
